Be Smart, Strong and Safe!
2011-2012 teacher evaluation draw winners announced
In the spring of 2012, over 6,500 classrooms across Canada received over the Be Smart, Strong and Safe booklets and posters. The free distribution of these booklets, which teach students learn how to identify inappropriate behavior and how to talk to a safe adult when something makes them feel uncomfortable, was made possible through support from Bell.
Teachers were asked to provide feedback through an online evaluation of the Be Smart, Strong and Safe resources. Those who completed the survey were entered in a draw to win one of five $75 gift certificates for their classroom. A special thank you goes out to all educators who took the time to complete the evaluation. Your feedback is extremely helpful and will assist in the development of future lessons and activities and other education materials. The following schools are this year’s winners:
- St. Gerard Elementary School, Edmonton, Alberta
- École Maria-Goretti, Quebec, Quebec
- Royal Vale School, Montreal, Quebec
- Overlanders School, Edmonton, Alberta
- CSSS Maskinongé, Louisville, Quebec
Thanks to all teachers who completed the survey!
